Gheorghe Hagi - The Maradona of The Carpathians

Gheorghe Hagi - The Maradona of The Carpathians

I’d like to present you the player I admire in my childhood - Gheorghe Hagi.

Hagi, nicknamed The Maradona of The Carpathians, is Romanian and World’s Football Legend. His presence in a football match with his excellent overall football ability, especially his goal-making and long-shot instinct, has earned him the title of Europe’s Best Attacking Midfielder in the 80s and 90s. Hagi played for the Romanian national team (125 caps, 35 goals) in three World Cups - 1990, 1994 and 1998, as well as in three European Football Championships - 1984, 1996 and 2000.
