Sick Football Tricks from Asia: Chinlone

Sick Football Tricks from Asia: Chinlone

This video is amazing - check it out!

It features the action-packed Chinlone, a traditional sport from Myanmar (Burma).

Chinlone is one of the international football members - a combination of sports and dance, usually a 6-player team sport with no opposing team. The focus is not on looking for a winner, but on how beautifully the game is played.

Similar games are played throughout the Southeast Asian region, such as Sepak Takraw - a competitive volleyball-like game with foot, instead of hands.

Instead of the all-we-know soccer ball, Chinlone use a football made from rattan, and the size is much smaller than the official soccer ball’s.

The girl in red’s soccer tricks remind me the action from Shaolin Soccer movie.

Nevertheless, they do play amazing football, although they trick it differently.
